The 16th edition of Open Source Lisbon, the biggest and most important Open Source event in Portugal, will take place on the 27th of September 2018.
This upcoming edition will be hosted at Cidade do Futebol, and it will gather national and international IT experts that will present the potential of Open Source technologies on the development and success of corporate strategy, as well as its importance for technological innovation.Under the theme ‘Open Source: driving Innovation’, the event invite speakers from all over the world to present and demonstrate how national and international companies are implementing Open Source technologies to power their digital transformation, and how this collaborative approach is at the start of technological evolution. The attendees will have the opportunity to watch the presentation of several Success Cases, new ways of using open source Technologies and the importance of this initiative.
Besides its exciting line-up, the event counts with a great venue for corporate events and press conferences besides our National Team's football practices. Home of the Portuguese Football Federation, Cidade do Futebol is a recent and modern building that holds a piece of history in it, securing all our football trophies with more than 100 free parking lots available, so it will be easy to find a spot.
This event, organized by Syone and co-organized by Caixa Mágica, lengths one day and it’s divided in two main slots. The morning is more focused in a business and strategy-oriented vision, and the afternoon on functional and technical aspects. The event is free of charge, but pre-enrolment is mandatory.
