OpenShift by Red Hat it’s an easy to use and affordable application, due to their lower costs in the market, for you to build, deploy and manage your apps in containers. Besides that, this technology goes with a lot of programming languages, like Ruby, Javascript, Java, PHP and Phyton, creating a great environment for your team. And also helps your company run apps efficiently and scale services.

In order to build the “Operating System” of the country, building simpler and more efficient services for the citizens, the Public Administration and businesses, the Italian Government created Team Gigitale, the country’s Digital Transformation Team. Following this initiative, a project to develop a user-friendly app was born.

Open Source can be defined as a philosophy that promotes the free access and distribution of a program, product or software.

It could be called as a manipulated and modified technology that changes a piece of the original software to make the program or application work as the user wants.

The 16th edition of Open Source Lisbon, the biggest and most important Open Source event in Portugal, will take place on the 27th of September 2018.

This upcoming edition will be hosted at Cidade do Futebol, and it will gather national and international IT experts that will present the potential of Open Source technologies on the development and success of corporate strategy, as well as its importance for technological innovation.
